Concept of Culture

"This is my culture".  I will often hear this statement in reference to either language, dance, or food.  Unfortunately, in Canada, mainstream society relegates 'culture' to anyone who is a recent immigrant or First Nations people.  In fact, we celebrate "multiculturalism" in Canada by putting on events that are a kind of "dinner and a show" activity. What mainstream society doesn't realize is that Canada has a culture (and it is more than Tims and Hockey).  

So the first concept that I want to explore is "culture". I have a quick video that I made several years ago that gives a definition of culture (I apologize for the sound quality, I haven't had a chance to improve it)

Assignment
